winter wheat 2022 : new holland 2350 and p2080 drill.
This is the first time you're seeing our new air drill. We upgraded for our John Deere 30ft 1990ccs drill to a New Holland p2350 air cart, and a 40ft p2080 7.5" spacing drill. This video was shot in the last field of Winter Wheat for 2023 crop year. A big change in a capacity and a big learning curve!

Beluga drops : Corn fungicide
Переглядів 422Рік тому
We upgraded our late season corn application game this year with beluga drop nozzles for our sprayer. 2 nozzles pointing towards each row of corn from inside the canopy, one 6ft off the ground and another 8ft give us excellent coverage of all leaves from the ear up to the tassel. We fight western bean cutworm a lot and this coverage is going to drastically improve the efficiency of the insectic...

Double crop soybeans in Eastern Ontario!

First attempt at double crop soybeans was an amazing success! Winter wheat harvest was 20 days early than normal this year, coming off June 10-15. As a result we followed the combine with the drill and caught a nice rain right after seeding. Beans were up in 5 days with a great stand. September and October were wide open and flowering continued into October. The soybeans averaged 35bpa at about...

If you didn’t have rocky conditions, would you use a shank, or do you feel you achieve depth and strip quality with the coulter setup. I have always worried that coulters could potentially pack the ground right under its work area as it’s more of a downward motion disk type tillage vs. the shank that lifts and shatter, but maybe I’m wrong.
